Dystopian literature

I’ve been traveling a lot lately, which basically means that I am spending an awful lot of time in airports, hotel rooms, and conference rooms around the globe. It also means I’m getting a chance to read. I picked up 1984 for the first time in years and rediscovered my interest in dystopian literature.

dys·to·pi·a [dis-toh-pee-uh] –noun
a society characterized by human misery, as squalor, oppression, disease, and overcrowding.
Compare utopia.

I’ve got through Animal Farm and Brave New World as well. What I’m looking for is suggestions in the same genre. Anybody care to contribute?
